I have seen complaints about Global Discovery Vacations that in my opinion are in part true, but exaggerated. As a member I find the availability of vacation sites varies, and it is not always possible to find a place through the vacation club on the exact dates or in the precise locations you prefer to go. Global Discovery Vacations is perfect for someone that is flexible in their vacation plans. With flexibility, there is always locations available to go. I have had a beautiful vacation spot in Florida next to and overlooking the ocean and also enjoyed a week in Europe at the incredible savings. I have also experienced trying to get the same location in Florida, and finding it not available. Global Discovery Vacations is not a rip off, but for the steep discounted price one has be flexible to take advantage and enjoy the variety of vacation spots available. I have not used Global Discovery Vacations as a full service travel agency. And I will agree, it has been at time difficult to reach customer service and get answers to my questions. Despite that, I have been happy with my Global Discovery Vacations membership and hope the vacation options continue to grow. Global Discovery Vacations has provided vacation options that I would not be been able to afford or would have probably not even considered. And that is exactly why I like the membership.
